So Much Can Happen When You Let It...

I fell. Hard. I kept stumbling as friends and family tried to help me up. I started walking again, only to fall once more. Then one day, I realized the many people around me and then I picked myself up. I started walking then before I knew it I was running again. I will fall again, I will stumble but I will get right back up.

Whatever it is about me, whoever I am to those people that have provided me with support, distractions, love, confidence, you name it, will keep me fueled for the rest of my life. My life is too awesome, my friends are too awesome and I am too awesome to be hung up on one bad and prolonged experience. I wish her the best, with all of my heart but as I sit down and write new and exciting chapters for myself, I spend less time in the past, more time in the future and am living in the "now."

And right now, life has been amazing.

About eight weeks ago, I injured my ankle and my knee from a suicide play during League finals. I got the guy, but ended up paying for it as I was pretty much unable to do anything active for weeks. I got heavy into Street Fighter II V, a really awesome anime that will probably the definitive point in this "era" you know, soundtrack or images will trigger memories and feelings and what not... and it kind of reverted me back to when I was just out of high school and eagerly pursuing the martial arts and getting into them. Learning about them, experiencing them with a sense of juvenile awe. It started to get me to thinking that once upon a time, I was single and for a while and I guess that just created an avalanche.

Since I couldn't do Insanity anymore, I waited a few weeks and began P90X as my friend Mason has become a living walking breathing sweating testament to its effectiveness when given the right amount of dedication and well, he's a damn good motivator. As the days go by I make it a point to surround myself with more people like him in my life. All they do is elevate you.

P90X and the supplements I had taken in the absence of Advocare (that I purchased during the war exercise back in November) got me into pretty good shape and fast. I love who I see looking back in the mirror shirtless. Granted, there are still some areas that can use some work (or less bad diet) but its very nice.

Dodgeball has been going well, Tony Horton is a hell of a motivator, like Shaun T but in his own way, my job sucks and serves as motivation to find a better one, I've been on TV a few times, I just got back from playing in a tournament in Salt Lake City against former Utah Jazz players, my house has central AC and Heating with no blackouts...and I have a girlfriend who I adore and makes me feel like the luckiest guy on the planet. We have some trials ahead of us, but if we can endure it, there's no limit to what we can experience together...she's already got me to dance...at a nighclub in Vegas...and that was just the first date. @_@
