"Recover" Day...

Yeah right.

Again, I am convinced that word is not in Shaun T's vocabulary.  However, I do feel slightly recovered, perhaps "primed" is the better word.  When I began Insanity for the first time a year ago (almost to date) I would do Recovery Day prior to AZ Dodgeball and would be so loose, so limber and usually frustrated from the previous night's loss (my team on Wednesday nights isn't the best and I do end up doing the majority of the work but its good for practice) that I tear it up and feel great.

That's how I feel right now.  Ready to kill...but ain't got nuffins to kill.  The lunges (as always) and pulses were tough and forever will be but I feel as though the last four days took all of my non glamor muscles, you know, the ones that are actually used on a daily basis for movement and not for the ladies were awakened and ready to be worked on some more.  I feel faster already, like I am back where I was in June prior to my injury but at the same time, I stayed active during that period (as best I could) so its no surprise I keep up, no surprise I feel stronger and am somehow a bit more flexible.  I cannot wait until Day 60...I look great now but Day 60 will only add to it.  >:)

As I glided through the hallway out of my room Carlos asked if I was done, I said I was and then he asked how I felt and I responded with the first word that came to mind: "Godly."

Is it the Catalyst?  Is it the inspiring voice of Shaun T and the admirable efforts of his crew that worked themselves?  Is it the muscles triggering the release of endorphins?  Beats me, but I am so happy to be back in the game.  Rinzler here I come.

Also, I bought some protein supplement that I just took, should help.

I am also talking to someone from Beachbody who wants to be my coach, this will be interesting.  I think they are set up similar to Advocare with the whole, recruit your friends and have them recruit their friends deal but encouragement is encouragement.  These are beautiful people and I am ever eager to join their ranks and if some of my friends want to tag along, the more the merrier.
